P.U.R.E. recycled Down is a 100% sustainable and eco-friendly filling material. It is the result of the union between a careful recycling process and a production chain based on the attempt to prevent waste.

TOP PERFORMANCES

The Recycled down and feathers are treated according to a process that is identical to the one employed for virgin down. Our aim is to obtain a final product which has the same potential of virgin down in terms of Fill Power and thermal insulation.

TRACEABILITY, CERTIFICATION AND QUALITY

P.U.R.E. is exclusively made with recycled down. and it is in line with all the strict principles provided by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Moreover, we developed a specific qualitative standard to control even further our production.

Certified laboratory

Minardi Piume is the first firm in Italy to own a testing laboratory that is officially recognized by the International Down and Feather Bureau (IDFB) and was also the first being recognized by the European Down and Feather Association (EDFA). Our laboratory allows a constant check of our product during the whole production process and offers the opportunity to be always in line with the international standards.

P.U.R.E. recycled down is available in different categories based on the most important technical parameter, the Fill Power. We are able to supply fill power up to an excellent value more than 750 cu.in.

To categorize the quality levels we have therefore created, in addition to our standard P.U.R.E. LABEL, two Premium Labels to identify the highest fill powers:

Each categories is then available in different compositions (percentage of down) according to the different international standards.
